American Heritage
The American Heritage Department was launched to "enhance knowledge and appreciation of the history or our nation, particularly in New England, by a series of visits to historic sites and museums, meetings with speakers on local history, and reading about historic persons and events."

Members who wish to join the department each year are asked for $3 to support mailings. The American Heritage Department usually meets at 10 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday morning of the month from October through June. Contact chairmen Edee Crowell or Priscilla Oliver.

Conservation Department
The Conservation Department generally meets at members' homes at 1:00 PM, normally on the 4th Monday of the month from October until May (excluding December and March). The group presents programs with speakers who will share their knowledge and expertise on crucial conservation and preservation issues in Chatham, as well as issues that are pertinent to the entire Cape. We invite members of the Women's Club of Chatham to join us for any program and to join the department as a member. Contact Joanna Schurmann at 945-6594 or joannaschurmann@comcast.net. CWC Book Club
TheCWC Book Club meets at 1:00 pm on the third Thursday of the month at the Chatham Community Center. Books selected for reading are reviewed by a member, followed by an open discussion. Refreshments are served. Annual dues are $5. We welcome new members.Co-chairman are Alayner Tsigas and Sharon Kuntz.

Civic Group
The Legislative Department meets on the third Friday of the month in members' homes and presents a speaker each month on a topic of interest to members. To join the department, contact Chairmen Barbara Lynyak or Sue Pitt. Meetings begin at 10:00 a.m.
