OUR CLUB
Our club meets in and around Chatham, Massachusetts, a lovely picturesque town of 7,000 residents in the winter and 36,000 residents in the summer. Located at the
elbow of Cape Cod, the town is surrounded on three sides by water and sustains an active fishing industry and a vibrant arts, crafts, , retail, and hospitality economic base. Because much needs to be done to make our community the best it can be, the club was founded in 1915 and continues to set its sails for new horizons. This year we celebrate our 95th year as a Club.

The objective of our Club, a non-profit organization chartered for other than profit making activities, is to enrich the educational and civic life of its members and the community. Consistent with this goal, the club engages in educational, humanitarian and charitable activities. Come JOIN US and see what we can do together.

Night Falls on Emerald City Cocktail Party and Entertainment
On Sunday, April 22, 2012 The Women's Club of Chatham and Lower Cape Outreach are giving a program at the Chatham Community Center. We will begin with appetizers/desserts and wine at 5pm followed by Larry Marsland who will perform his play, Night Falls on Emerald City, a story about legendary singer, Judy Garland. There are 125 tickets available. The proceeds will be divided between the two organizations. Our share of the proceeds will benefit our work towards Community Grants and Scholarships. Lower Cape Outreach is an organization that is dedicated to helping families in need from Harwich to Provincetown. To purchase tickets priced at $25 each, please see Lisa Mahieu.

Luncheon at Eastward Ho - May 10, 2012
Save the date! Our spring luncheon will be at Eastward Ho Country Club on May 10th. We hope you will set aside the time to come and enjoy a delicious lunch, visit with friends and enjoy the unbelievable surroundings. We are fortunate to have ikabano designer Jean Mangiafico demonstrate the fine art of Japanese flower arranging. See you there!

July and the Tercentennial Parade Celebration
It is getting closer! We will need walkers and a few riders to make a good showing - probably about 50 people in all. We hope you can help. Look for a sign up sheet at our meeting. If you miss that chance, you can call Nancy Black.
